Extremely hungry, gone full again! Two Pfälzer Schorle drunk two schnitzel with side dishes and eaten for it Spend € 21.60. (a little more with tip 😉)
simply good
The sausage kitchen is always worth a detour. Good service and of course the best Palatinate food, prepared by the chef himself. A cult restaurant in KL
had a bit of time and hunger for home-style cooking, luckily found the sausage kitchen ...... super tasty, large portions, pleasant trappings and very nice service. Should I ever come to K-Lautern again, I know where I absolutely have to go. Keep it up.
Very Good
Very good food Large selection of food and drinks, nice service and good value for money Can just be recommended
Nice service, rustic decor. The food was tasty and plentiful.
Delicious, quaint, nice staff and great prices!
Great kitchen nice staff
Really nice quaint restaurant. We had a great meal and the service was very friendly and quick. If we come to Kaiserslautern again, we'll be happy to eat here again!
Very tasty Palatinate cuisine. Very nice staff. Gladly again
Food very good, nice chef and nice waitresses.
Very good food in a Palatinate atmosphere Polite and competent waitresses Can only be recommended :)
Wanted to eat Palatinate and got it! Very nice, rustic pub with very good Palatinate food and very nice service and very nice host wir left the restaurant full and very satisfied!
Quaint restaurant with genuine home cooking. This is where the citizens of the city meet. Rich menu and varied daily menu - always fresh. We recommend.
Long wait, but the food was very good
This place offers traditional German menus and is not far from the football stadium so a popular meeting place pre-match.
Good food and the plentiful, nice host, friendly staff good German cuisine also international
I highly recommend the Jaeger schnitzel salad and French fries. They did great with us American who speaks no German and served me well great service super friendly.
Little hidden gem in K-Town. It's some of the best traditional German cuisine in the city. I highly recommend the schnitzel with fried onions. The staff is always nice and a lot of them speak English. One of my faves!
Basically nothing speaks against inns with tradition. But a renovation would be necessary here. The lunch was cheap but unfortunately the beef was not tender.
Staff is very friendly, they helped me and my foolish American friend figure out what we wanted to eat since we couldn't read the menu. The woman who waited on us and the chef both speak great English, and they are very welcoming and happy to help share information about Germany. It's a good idea to call ahead and reserve a table, there are only a couple of small areas for walk-ins. We were a walk-in and we had seating no problem, but I think that's just because they're being nice.
Old but good place. The staff is very friendly. Ate a rump steak it was one of the best steaks I've eaten. It was made to the point, I really got it in English. Praise to the cook.
Delicious and friendly, excellent service!
I am staying at an AirBNB in the neighborhood, so I have eaten here twice. Both times I ordered traditional German food and the flavor was wonderful, far exceeding my expectations. It is clearly a neighborhood place with a card game going on at the next table, but they were very welcoming to a polite ausländer with hunger.
Quaint older economy in Kaiserslautern, was recommended to us by Google Maps. Prices are really humane. Friendly service, waiting times are acceptable at the full restaurant. Taste also 5 stars, schnitzel tastes like before
You feel at home ... great atmosphere
During my work trip to K-town, me and my girlfriend decided we wanted to get a little more off the beaten tourist path, and eat dinner at some place the locals would eat at. We walked from the SAKS hotel till we found this place. It turned out to be one of the best meals we had the whole time we were in Germany. One side of the restaurant had locals playing some sort of card game, Doppelkopf maybe, but I'm not sure. They had to fetch a young man from the kitchen to take our order, cause he spoke better English than the rest. You could tell that they weren't used to getting many Americans in there, but they were all very pleasant and accommodating. It was exactly the sort of experience we were looking for. 2 years later, me and my girlfriend still talk about the evening we spent in this establishment. We would love to go back.
Very good quality
